Avigilon secures community College in Iowa and Grosvenor Technology access control system deployed at Broadgate, London
On today’s news round-up, NextDetect, a next-generation analytic engine with robust facial recognition capabilities, has been deployed by Orange County, Florida to increase public safety and improve municipal operations for area residents, employees and visitors. Also in application news, 45 Avigilon high-definition cameras ranging from 1 to 16 MP have been installed at the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) in Iowa to prevent unlawful activity, and boost student and staff safety. Over in Little Rock, Arkansas, Arecont Vision IP cameras have been deployed to secure non-profit organisation Heifer International’s new warehouse.
In London, the JANUS access control system from Grosvenor Technology is protecting Broadgate, one of London’s premier business communities. In Oman, transmission solutions manufacturer AMG has announced that they have supplied their 3700 series transmission solution for the new integrated security & surveillance solution at the OMIFCO fertiliser plant.
